What We Collect

When you join the waitlist, contact us, or reach out about partnerships, we collect the information you provide directly: your name, email address, and any message you send us. If you tell us your interest area (Events, Court Culture Commerce, or both) or whether you plan to hoop at an event, we collect that too, so we can send you relevant updates instead of everything.

If you RSVP to a Court Culture Chicago event through Partiful, we import your name, email, and RSVP response into our own records after the event so we can recognize returning attendees and improve future runs. We only ever use Partiful’s official guest-list export for this — nothing is pulled from your Partiful account beyond what you submitted for that specific event.

How We Use It

• To send you updates about Court Culture Chicago events and Court Culture Commerce products you’ve expressed interest in.
• To respond to messages sent through the contact form.
• To follow up on partnership inquiries.
• To understand which parts of the site people come from, so we can improve it.

We do not sell your personal information, to anyone, ever.

Where It’s Stored

Your information is stored with a small number of service providers we use to run this site: Resend (email delivery and our contact list), Neon (our database), and Vercel (hosting). Each of these providers has its own security practices and privacy policy governing how they handle data on our behalf.

Cookies & Analytics

We use privacy-focused analytics to understand overall site traffic and which pages and buttons people use. This does not identify you individually and does not rely on tracking cookies.

Your Choices

Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe. You can also email us directly at courtculturechicago@gmail.com to ask what information we have about you, correct it, or have it deleted.

Changes to This Policy

As Court Culture Chicago grows — particularly once event registration and Commerce checkout go live — this policy will be updated to reflect any new data we collect, such as payment or shipping information. We’ll update the date at the top when that happens.
